We are a local Community First Responder group covering the area attending 999 calls for West Midlands Ambulance Service. We are a charity – run solely by volunteers, so rely on the generosity of the general public to help fund our vehicle, equipment and uniforms. Over the past 18 months we have done very little fundraising, due to obvious restrictions surrounding COVID-19, yet we have continued to respond as normal. This has meant our expenses like replacing medical equipment and keeping our Responder vehicle on the road have continued as normal also. Therefore I’d like to ask a favour? If there are any opportunities for us to attend any local fairs/fundraising events, could you send us a message, on here please? Also, if anyone reading this post runs a retail premises or pub and would very kindly like one of our charity money boxes – we will make arrangements to drop one off.
