Take care out there on the roads folks! There’s a lot of debris/branches in the roads and there’s a few roads which are blocked or partially blocked by lorries/cars. The gritters are out and about again so the roads are now becoming slushy. Cheadle road Between boundary and Forsbrook – there’s a lorry blocking one side of the road. Draycott rd from the huntsman to the Draycott arms – there’s cars blocking the road so cannot pass either way. There’s a lorry partially blocking the roundabout near Tesco Meir park. There’s a branch partially blocking Draycott road near Hartley skips. There was a branch blocking the road in Dilhorne by the Royal Oak pub – but I stopped and helped with two other people to move it out the way so it’s clear now. There’s branches partially blocking the road at the other end of Dilhorne coming from the crossroads by the huntsman. This was at 9am this morning xx

We are a local Community First Responder group covering the area attending 999 calls for West Midlands Ambulance Service. We are a charity – run solely by volunteers, so rely on the generosity of the general public to help fund our vehicle, equipment and uniforms. Over the past 18 months we have done very little fundraising, due to obvious restrictions surrounding COVID-19, yet we have continued to respond as normal. This has meant our expenses like replacing medical equipment and keeping our Responder vehicle on the road have continued as normal also. Therefore I’d like to ask a favour? If there are any opportunities for us to attend any local fairs/fundraising events, could you send us a message, on here please? Also, if anyone reading this post runs a retail premises or pub and would very kindly like one of our charity money boxes – we will make arrangements to drop one off. Lastly (apologies for the long post!) We have a just giving page set up for anyone who would like to make a donation – no matter how small – it will be very much greatly received. Thanking you for your time, from everyone at Fulford & District Community First Responders. 🙂 🚑 X https://ift.tt/3duL4qp

Appeal Fulford and District Community First Responders are appealing for your support. We are completely self-funded; it has been over a year since we have been able to do any fundraising. Our volunteers have continued to respond all through the Pandemic so our expenses have continued at the normal rate. Our car has recently had to have a lot of work done to keep it on the road. We are also going to need to replace some of our medical equipment soon. We need your help to keep our car on the road. Any amount would be appreciated. May we take this opportunity to thank you in advance for any help you can give. Button Now Fixed – Thank you for your patience. https://ift.tt/3duL4qp
